In Colossians 3:9-11
Paul reminds believers that the old self—the person shaped by sin, deceit, and the former way of life—has been decisively put off like a filthy garment. In its place, the new self is being continually renewed as God reshapes believers into the image of Christ, restoring what was lost in Adam. This new identity creates a new humanity where old divisions—ethnic, cultural, social, or religious—no longer define anyone. In this renewed community, Christ is everything, the source, center, and unifying reality of all who belong to Him
