This message explores why Paul wrote to the church in Colossae—addressing a growing mix of false teachings now known as the Colossian Heresy. The believers were being pressured to add mystical practices, human traditions, and spiritual intermediaries to their faith. Paul responds by lifting Jesus high, reminding the church that Christ is supreme, sufficient, and the center of our salvation. Colossians 1:1–14 calls us back to a faith rooted in truth, strengthened by spiritual wisdom, and anchored in the power of the One who rescued us from darkness.
