It is our desire at destiny Church United for the parents of each child being dedicated to the Lord to have a Biblical understanding of what “baby dedication” means.

A Baby Dedication is a ceremony in which believing parents and family make a public commitment before the Lord to submit a child to God’s will and to raise that child according to God’s word and ways. It is a sacred part of the worship service and therefore, the following policy and procedure must be followed.

Dedication services are done concluding the ministering of the word on the available date selected. The baby or child being dedicated must be 5 years old and under. We ask that non-members give a love offering in any amount to the ministry. We are a mobile ministry so we will come to a location of your choosing.

All requests to have a baby/child dedicated must come from the parent(s) or the legal guardian. Baby/Child dedication services will be confirmed with parents by phone once the request form has been submitted. Baby/child dedication is performed on second, third or fourth Sunday.
