History of Destiny Church United

Destiny Church United was originally founded as Divine Destiny & Deliverance Ministries in January 2022, following a divine calling confirmed through Pastor Dale Brown. On March 2, 2022, the Bridges family experienced a supernatural moment—bells ringing in their home—on Pastor Andre Bridges' 40th birthday, marking God's affirmation of their new journey.

In April 2022, the ministry launched with virtual Bible studies, followed by the installation of Pastor Andre Bridges as Senior Pastor in June 2022 under Restoration Global Ministries. The first official Sunday service took place in the dining room of his home with only his family in attendance—but the vision for Kingdom impact had begun.

Following the model of the book of Acts, services were mobile, moving from house to house for worship and fellowship. In March 2023, Mother Luke graciously opened her home to provide a stable gathering space, allowing the church to grow and deepen its foundation.

In December 2023, the ministry was released from Restoration Global Ministries under Apostle Elbert Brown, transitioning fully under the covering of Jesus Christ, the head of the Church and Chief Shepherd. With unwavering faith, DDD Ministries continued to strengthen connections with other ministries.

In February 2024, the church moved from Mother Luke’s living room to a dedicated worship space, marking a new chapter. Then, in April 2024, the ministry embraced a new name—Destiny Church United—reflecting its mission to equip, disciple, and unite God's people for Kingdom advancement.

In May 2025, the church transitioned out of its physical worship space, fully embracing a hybrid model of ministry that combines virtual elements with intentional in-person fellowship opportunities to strengthen relationships and deepen faith. This model creates a dynamic space for online discipleship, worship, and engagement, while ensuring that every believer, regardless of location, can stay connected and spiritually empowered. 

Quoting Zechariah 4:10, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”
